How Equant can help
Equant’s website work focuses on law firms, informed by the founder’s experience practicing law. We also offer AI consulting and custom development for other businesses. We’ll start by discussing what you need the technology to do and how it fits into your day-to-day work.
Client Acquisition
Custom websites · SEO/AEO optimization · Monthly blog content · Ongoing care
A prospective client needs enough information to decide whether your firm can help. We build websites that explain your practice and make it straightforward to get in touch. We can also handle search optimization and ongoing care, so the site continues to receive attention after launch.
- DiscoveryWe’ll discuss your practice, the clients you want to reach, and what makes your approach distinctive. We’ll also look at how an inquiry reaches your firm and what happens during intake, so the website supports the way you actually work.
- Design and writingWe’ll develop a visual direction and copy specific to your firm, using information we can verify. You’ll review the design as it develops and approve the legal explanations and professional claims before publication.
- Search foundationsWe’ll work on page structure, metadata, and useful content so search engines can understand the site. Accurate practice and location information supports local search. AEO work considers how AI tools find and describe your firm, with clear reporting on what has been changed.
- Contact that worksWe’ll check forms and phone links on desktop and mobile before launch, along with any booking or intake paths included in the project. Visitors should know what will happen when they reach out and be able to complete that step comfortably on a phone.
- Launch and handoffYou’ll control the domain and hosting accounts behind the finished site. We’ll document the setup and walk you through the parts you’ll manage, including how updates are handled and where to find the relevant account information.
- Monthly care, if you want itOptional recurring work includes monthly blog content, SEO/AEO optimization, and website care. The proposal defines the content cadence, optimization tasks, maintenance, and reporting included. Your firm reviews legal content before publication.
The initial custom website build is quoted as a separate project. Recurring content, optimization, and care are optional, priced separately, and available month to month. The proposal sets out the scope of each.
AI & technology consulting
You can bring a specific AI question or start with the basics.
We offer individual and team sessions for law firms and other businesses. We can start with how language models operate, compare a potential use with the way you handle a task today, or work through an implementation question. The discussion includes what information a tool would need and how you would check its output.
You’re welcome to bring an example from your own work. We can use it to discuss the limits of a proposed approach and whether there’s a useful next step, including whether a simpler existing tool would be enough.
Custom implementations & problem-solving
Some projects need a tool built around the way you work.
Potential engagements include sending a website inquiry into an existing client-management system, moving information between tools to reduce repeated data entry, or implementing a defined AI-assisted workflow for review by a person. These are examples of work Equant can scope, rather than claims about completed client products. We’ll assess the systems and access involved before agreeing on an implementation.
The handoff should explain how to use the system and what to do when something fails. We’ll agree on those responsibilities as part of the scope. Email us about the project, even if you’re still working out what it requires.
How a project runs
You’ll review the work before it goes live.
- 01
Talk
We’ll discuss your business, what isn’t working, and what a useful result would look like. That gives us a basis for deciding whether Equant is the right fit for the project.
- 02
Plan
You’ll receive a proposal setting out the work and price, including what we’ll need from you. It will also explain what is included in the handoff and how we’ll review the result.
- 03
Build and refine
We’ll share working versions as the project develops so you can review the direction early. We’ll use your feedback to refine the work before the final checks and launch.
- 04
Launch and hand off
After testing and approval, we’ll launch the site and walk you through the handoff. We can arrange ongoing care separately.
Common questions
Can we start with just the website?
Yes. You can hire Equant for the build without signing up for monthly care. We’ll discuss who will maintain the finished site and include the relevant handoff in the project.
What does monthly care include?
The recurring proposal specifies monthly blog content and its publication cadence, SEO/AEO optimization, maintenance, and reporting. The scope is agreed before work begins, and care runs month to month.
Do you guarantee rankings or AI recommendations?
No. We can improve the site and work on its visibility, but we can’t promise a particular ranking or an AI recommendation. Reports distinguish the work completed from any changes in results.
Who approves the legal content?
Your firm approves legal explanations and professional claims before publication.
Can you work with my existing website?
Often, yes. We’ll need to look at the site and understand your access to its hosting and editing tools before recommending changes.
What does it cost?
We’ll provide a quote after we’ve discussed the project. Website builds and ongoing care are priced separately.
